Confession: I’m always at the gym. Like, I’m not even kidding you — almost everyday. It’s not like I enjoy working out or anything like that. In fact, I usually dread working out, especially weight training. I’m clumsy, uncoordinated, and usually a hot mess (yes, I was that girl walking with a dried piece of napkin stuck on her cheek last week), but it’s just such a part of my daily routine that I feel really odd and uneasy if I miss more than a day or two at a time. Yeah, I think I have a bit of a problem.
Anyway, I just bought this lovely bag recently. I was getting sick and tired of lugging my dirty and old and ratty Le Pliage which has just ONE pocket which, I’m sure many of you ladies can agree with, is just INSANE. Where do I put my keys? Or my coin purse? Makeup case? Makeup BRUSH case? Toiletries bag? Where?! I searched and searched and searched for months and could find nothing. I’d actually given up but walked by this store called Lole and saw this bag hanging on the wall. Listen to this, it’s a tote AND a backpack all in one cute bag. Guys, it’s a total game changer! Will review soon. And by soon I really mean sometime this year at the rate I’m posting entries.
In my Gym Bag
- Boar Bristle hair brush (Sonia Kashuk, I think?)
- Nike Free Run 2.0 (which has been discontinued.. BOOOOOO!) on top of a drawstring bag that came with the bag
- Progryp (Sponge grips for lifting weights. Much more comfortable than gloves!)
- Workout book which contains my workout routines
- Iphone 5 with Bose earphones attached
- Desserts gum in orange popsicle or something. You know, for days when you’re falling asleep while working out
- Wallet
- Combination lock
- MAC Mineralized Face and Body lotion. (So. Good!)
- Jurlique Lavender Body Wash
- 365 Unscented Body Lotion
- Lush I love Juicy clarifying shampoo
- Nivea deodorant
- Some shaker for my protein shakes

How do you like the Lush I Love Juicy Shampoo?
Also, how much do I love that you have a notebook just for your workout routines?
I just realized I don’t even own running shoes. Jesus.
I really like I Love Juicy. It smells amazing and it really does take off a lot of gunk from your hair, but I find that it’s a little drying. Definitely not for everyday use. Heck, I think once every two weeks is enough which makes me wonder if there’s any merit in buying a bigger size at all since they expire pretty fast.

I tried I Love Juicy last year, and while I thought it was okay, I wasn’t totally in love with it… I much prefer Lush’s BIG shampoo, which looks and feels like a scrub but the sea salt totally dissolves once you put it in your hair. Not only does it clarify your hair and scalp, but it also leaves your hair super voluminous and shiny. I only use it twice a week because it can be drying but it does wonders for my hair.
It’s the only shampoo I continue to buy from Lush.
Oh, yes, I guess I have a lot of Chuck Taylors… but I don’t really run in them, you know? What I mean is, I don’t have GYM shoes… Or shoes that I would ever consider going on a treadmill with.
Ironically, I have a Lululemon bag. And a yoga mat. But I don’t own shorts or sweatpants…
I WAS going to get BIG, but it’s the scent of ILJ that drew me in. Will def. have to give that a try soon!

I think I have a little problem with the gym. I get all twitchy an have cold sweats when I miss two or more days in a row
Nice bag! I like that. And lol’ing at Denise up there. I have running shoes but no gym and no gym bag, hahaha. One year I made a resolution to go and got a badass black Lululemon bag and an entire Nike outfit… and never even called a gym. I gave everything to my sister who is a gym nut now. You guys would really get along, lol.

You don’t need a gym! I didn’t renew my membership one year and just ran outside.
And I love Lululemon bags! The ones they sell now are a little poorly made, but they do look very cute! Also, I think you’re right — your sister and I would get along quite well. lol
