So, yes, my laptop and I have made it out of the woods.  After days of hesitating and sweating profusely, I finally hit the power button on my laptop and was waiting for the worst.  I was so nervous until I heard the most beautiful sound — the start up sound of Mac’s.  *Phew!!

Thank goodness!  To celebrate not having to buy another laptop, I treated myself to the rest of the Halloween chocolate left over (I do have a little bit of restraint, y’know ).

Anyway, in the pursuit of streamlining this blog of mine, I have decided to exclude personal posts from the main page (where you usually land when you type in my URL) and have moved them to ‘Mary’s Notes’ which is located atop at the end of the navigation bar.  I just wanted to separate the beauty posts from the random entries I love to  do.
