So, yes, my laptop and I have made it out of the woods. After days of hesitating and sweating profusely, I finally hit the power button on my laptop and was waiting for the worst. I was so nervous until I heard the most beautiful sound — the start up sound of Mac’s. *Phew!!
Thank goodness! To celebrate not having to buy another laptop, I treated myself to the rest of the Halloween chocolate left over (I do have a little bit of restraint, y’know 
).
Anyway, in the pursuit of streamlining this blog of mine, I have decided to exclude personal posts from the main page (where you usually land when you type in my URL) and have moved them to ‘Mary’s Notes’ which is located atop at the end of the navigation bar. I just wanted to separate the beauty posts from the random entries I love to do.

Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend — long weekend for those who live in Canada. I’m working the whole way, but I’m not complaining! Work is good. Work is really good.
I hope the little critters south of the border are doing alright, news about the Gulf Coast oil spill is getting grimmer and grimmer. I read one post that it may affect as far north as the Arctic?! Whoa! Hopefully someone out there will come up with oil alternatives that are very earth friendly.
Anyway, I am so itching to take some photos of my new products already, but (SURPRISE, SURPRISE!) my camera is nowere to be found… again. Seriously that thing has legs because it disappears when I plan on using it.

Hi! Remember me?! Well, I’m still alive, fyi. I’ve been living under two rocks named PHP and CSS (don’t worry if you don’t understand, it’ll only make your head spin) for the past couple of weeks. Sheesh who knew designing websites could be so much fun and consuming at the same time?Anyway, I’m about 60% satisfied, which is actually saying a lot, with how this site looks right now. I tried to deviate from the usual pink colour scheme, but what beauty blog would be complete without the pink overload? PINK PINK PINK PINK! Gimme a P an I, gimme N and K! P-I-N-K! Sorry that was my three cups of coffee cheering.
