MAC Studio Moisture Tint
Perfect for when I want a bit more coverage than concealer.
Some random bracelet I bought on sale for $7.
Greek Salad
I’ve been on a Greek Salad bender for the past month now. It’s all I ever think about when lunchtime rolls around. No, it’s not because of some diet (I don’t think I could ever commit to that). I just love vegetables and salads that much.
Another Greek Salad
Yeah, I think I’m obsessed with Greek Salad. I took my brother to Sophia Restaurant across the border for his birthday a week ago and got this (he ordered the monstrous chocolate chip pancakes).
Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray
The perfect tool for turning sleek and neat hair into just-got-into-a-bar-brawl-messy hair. Can’t live without it.
Moo La La from Caffe Demetre.
Waffle with double scoops of Nutello (tastes similar to Nutella and contains chunks of chocolate chips) ice cream, banana slices, dollops of whipped cream, shaved almonds, and hot chocolate fudge.
A job well done.

A few days ago a friend and I had an interesting conversation…. With the much cooler temperature of late, we got to talking about the eventual arrival of Old Man Winter. Somehow the conversation went from shoveling driveways buried underneath 3 feet of snow (Hello, Canadian winter!) to snowboarding and eventually fur coats. F has been thinking about getting one while I’m not exactly a fan — textile technology has improved so much that faux fur no longer looks tacky and obviously fake.
But then I suddenly remembered that I have bought fur in the past.

I guess I wear short shorts!
As mentioned in my previous post, I have recently taken up hot yoga to spice up my fitness routine because god knows I’m still lugging around all those cheeseburgers from exam time last term. TMI!
Bikram or Hot Yoga is set in a studio heated up to at least 40 ° C which converts to about 100 ° F. Yeah, it’s like working out in a sauna room so you can imagine just how much one can sweat after a 60 minute or even a 75 minute session! I get really bothered by pants sticking to my legs, so I caved in and bought these shorts from Lululemon, a Canadian brand that makes wicked athletic wear for yoga, among other things.
One word: LOVE. I initially bought their Hot Hot Short created specifically for use in Hot Yoga classes, but I really don’t want to wear glorified undies to class, thank you very much.
What I like about their products is that they are just so versatile — you can work out in ‘em and go for coffee afterward and still look well put together!
