I always love to read about what other gals use on their skin on a daily basis; partly out of sheer curiosity and also because I’m always on the lookout for good moisturizers, creams — you know the deal!

So, one afternoon whilst I was streaming the latest episode of Modern Family (Manny, I ♥ you!) inspiration struck and I decided to gather the products I use to take photos for a post. And so without further ado, here are the products that I am currently using on a daily basis.

• Cetaphil Cleanser: I love this cleanser. Super gentle but cleans off an entire night’s worth of sebum on my skin. Morning is the only time I really use this since it does not really do a good job at getting rid of heavy gunk (makeup, sunscreen, etc.) at the end of the day — I have my cleansing oil for that.

 

• Clinique Even Better Skin Tone Corrector Serum: The upside to having Asian skin is that it ages a little slower than others, but the huge downside is that it’s really prone to unsightly sun spots. And although I’m diligent in applying sunscreen daily, my skin still can’t get escape the wrath of the sun — especially during the hot summer days. I use this twice daily underneath my moisturizer in an effort to even my skin tone out a little. And yes, a review is coming soon .

 

• Clinique All About Eyes Serum: I like this product because it feels so soothing on the skin. Nothing spectacular and something I can live without, but, again, it feels so good on tired under eyes. I always use this underneath the moisturizer. Click here for my review.

 

• Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream: I was down to the last few ounces of my usual go-to moisturizer, Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizer, and decided to try something completely new. I love DDM, but it just wasn’t doing anything for my skin anymore. I LOVE this moisturizer. It’s quite expensive, but I don’t really like to spare any expense when it comes to skincare. Well, okay I may have exaggerated a little — l try to stay reasonable with the stuff I buy.

 

• Clarins UV Plus SPF 40: I was totally devoted to Shiseido’s sunscreen until I found this little gem. It’s a tiny thing, but a little goes a long way. Non-greasy, non-sticky, and disappears on the skin. LOVE!

 

• Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil: I can’t live without this product. It does the job of removing makeup (even stubborn waterproof mascara and eyeliner) gently. Obviously this is only used at the end of the day to remove makeup and pollution. Click here for my review.

 

• Clinique Clarifying Lotion: I don’t use this every single day; only when I feel like my makeup remover needs a little backup. It takes off quite a bit of dirt off my skin and leaves it tingly fresh. I love this product even more on days when my skin seems to have gone through a war zone — very refreshing, indeed.

 

• Josie Maran Argan Oil: I bought this for the summertime to replace a heavy cream that I had been using all winter. My skin goes through hell and back during the transition from warm to chilly weather and this is heavy enough to act as my “heavy cream” without feeling so heavy that I feel like I just coated my face with a stick of butter.
