Guys, you know what I really hate? It’s dry and tight skin. This is why I avoid over cleansing my skin and stick to soap-free cleansers — I find that my skin does NOT like soapy cleansers. It gets dry, tight (immediately after rinsing), and very dull looking which is why I tend to gravitate towards oil and milk/lotion cleansers.
When I was asked to try out Eucerin’s DermatoCLEAN line, the Mild Cleansing Lotion was the first thing I used out of the bunch. It gently cleanses the skin and does not leave it feeling very dry and tight right after rinsing it off. Another thing I really dig about this cleanser is the smell — or lack of it. I’m finding it harder and harder to deal with facial products that are heavily perfumed. It takes makeup off gently and goes GREAT with my Clarisonic Mia which, HOLY SHIT, I completely forgot to review! Anyway, LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff. Love how smooth and moisturized and CLEAN my skin feels after using it.

I’m sure you all know how necessary great skin is for amazing and flawless looking makeup. You could have the best foundation, concealer, powder — or whatever! — but as long as your skin is dry and tired looking, then you might as well forget it because it will show. Well, the same truth definitely applies to your lips. Dry and flaky lips and lipstick DO NOT GO WELL TOGETHER. Period.
