Congratulations, Michelle :-D !!

A huge thank you to those who entered and there will be more to come in the future ;-) .

Gio recently featured me on her Blogs We Love series. I was so not expecting that!

Her blog is chock full of informative posts on makeup and skin care. What I love most about her blog is that she takes the time to research the almost every ingredient you may find in your tub of cream of tube of lipstick.

Thanks for the love, Gio!

From the land that brought you the Ganguro girls, and Cosplay, comes another innovation that is likely to cause a huge buzz: LED teeth lights. Yes, you got that right. Flava Flav ain’t got nothing on high school girls from Japan. Whereas his only shines gold during the day, these, er, mouth guards, flash different lights at night when you smile.

For serious.

What’s really cool is that the user is able to choose the colours they want using a computer interface, wirelessly.

Here’s a promotional video called “Party in the Mouth.” As in party of lights in your mouth, so get your mind outta the gutter! :-P

They may look weird to you, but I do think that these are not without their own merits. Here’s a short list of why wearing LED lights on your teeth may be beneficial.

  • You can finally say that you’ve got a megawatt smile and really mean it.
  • Much like blinkers, LED teeth lights can warn drivers ahead of time that you are crossing the road. Just make sure to smile very widely as you cross.
  • Have a blind date? Told them that you’d be wearing a red top, but (surprise, surprise!) at least 50% of the girls are wearing a red top very similar to yours at the place of your meeting? Don’t fret. Use the LED lights as a fail-over. Tell whoever you’re meeting to look for bright, multi-coloured teeth.
  • Want to get revenge on someone who scared the bejesus out of you one Halloween night? Well, no need to wait! Just turn off all the lights in the room, position yourself behind the curtains (or somewhere inconspicuous) then smile when they get near. Scary? Heck, Yes!

But wait, hasn’t somebody famous already done this before?? OH, YEAH… Ross Gellar! I’m telling you, he was way ahead of his time.

What do you think of this ‘trend’ (wait, can I even call it that?)?
