Heee Heee I’m got this thing for kitschy names? Anyway, I’m sure a lot of you will agree *ahem*Renee*ahem* when I say that Lancome spokesperson, Anne Hathaway, is just o-em-gee-drop-dead-gorgeous! Here’s Anne at a Power of Women lunch and, clearly, she does not need a ton of makeup to make a lasting impression. Those lips. Those cheekbones… Those eyes. That skin! Super gorgeous. Wait. Does she even need any makeup at all?
I haven’t seen brick-red on anyone since my aunt bought a tube at MAC way back in the 90′s. It was the hottest thing back then. I should know — I used to put it on my lips like I was doing one of those color by the number cartoon books. Love how it complements her gown, no?
To achieve the same look, lightly sweep a warm rose or peach blush on your cheek bones (I like Clinique’s Sunset Glow). For the eyes, stick to warm neutrals like All That Glitters Veluxe Pearl eyeshadow by MAC (this one’s got some gold “reflects” — definitely not glittery). Line your eyes with some brown eyeliner, finish off with your fave mascara and you’re good to go!

Oh Mary, a woman after my own mind! Anne is stunning, such a positive role model and generally sane woman in this crazy Hollywood world haha.
Anyways, I say you’re after my own mind because I am just posting up a post on red lips tonight! Anne does them gorgeously, but I want to see sexy red lips on you too, Mary!
P.S. Anne’s haircut is stunning too, I love her hair since she’s cut it to a long bob.
LOL at “generally sane woman” It’s kinda sad how crazy people in Hollywood are, huh?? And I would love to wear red lipstick.. still on the hunt for the perfect shape. do you have a fave of your own?!
Bobbi Brown! I bought mine from them and I am really starting to like Bobbi Brown’s stuff! I also just bought an orange red from MAC, this it’s called CB 96. Both are warm so it looks great on Asian skin tones
