My March Julep Maven box arrived a week ago. Honestly, I totally forgot about the program and didn’t get a chance to switch my box.

I’m just glad that I like both shades I received and you can’t lose with Organic Argan Oil (I use it Josie Maran’s Argan Oil daily as a moisturizer). Anyway, the two polish shades included in this month’s box are:

Brooke sheer shimmery purple. Perfect for adding a bit of punch to other shades I already have.

Jennifer nude pink. It’s very sheer and is opaque after two or three layers, but it’s not streaky so that’s a plus! I was actually thinking of getting a nude polish so this came just in time.

Agreed, the purple looks like a duochrome.

Denise, Brooke is actually very pretty on. I think it is duochrome, but it goes on so sheer that it’s not really visible until 3 coats and even then it’s not so in your face. Suresies! Hopefully tomorrow if I have time. If not, then Friday. And I think everyone and their moms know you have a thing for duochrome polishes. lol

Fieran, you’re right.. there’s a hint of duochrome.

I seriously love anything that comes in one of those medicine-y bottles!

Yeah, I’m also VERY into skincare packaged in apothecary bottles. They add so much character to the product.
