Here’s Lady Gaga at the 2009 MTV Video Awards with a bird’s nest around her face. Seriously, I’m all for expressing yourself with art and theatrics, but I’m sure she’s blurred the line between good and just plain absurd. I don’t know. Am I alone in this?! Really and truly, I love Lady Gaga’s songs, but I just find the constant out-of-this-world costumes, props, and avant garde makeup exhausting.
Honestly, looking through her photos is quite a draining experience for myself. But, hey, at least I got a little chuckle out of seeing her getup which I’m positive is what she was aiming for in the first place: a reaction. Hmm I wonder how long it takes for her to get ready every day.
Here are some of her “less” crazy outfits. Well, excluding her ninja getup. That’s up there with the bird’s nest.

I don’t know who she is, but damn this woman has (ridiculous) style! This actually reminded me a post I wanted to post on her but never got around to! That’s how crazy her getups are, we’re all blogging about it!
Hey Renee, I guess she still hasn’t broken ground in Asia? She’s a huge star here. You gotta give it to the girl, she’s cunning enough to realize that always looking absurd will keep you in the spotlight. I don’t think she needs it, though. Her music and talent are enough.
Oh no, she’s huge here too! She was just in Singapore for a concert (last month i think?) and all my friends went. It’s just me; I don’t care about pop culture haha so I never know who is who. I haven’t heard one song from her, that’s how backward I am

Oh, you and I are so alike. I don’t keep track of any up and coming artists nowadays. It’s sad because I feel like there isn’t much good music being made anymore. They’re all so, for lack of a better word, disposable — hot today, but gone the week after. I mostly listen to old school stuff and classical nowadays. But I do like most of Lady Gaga’s songs

I adore her music, and her sense of clothing is so chic!!
