It’s been almost a year since my last “in my purse” post, so I thought I’d do another one for old time’s sake. Lately, all I’ve been carrying around is Pepper. I almost didn’t get her at all, actually. I initially wanted the same style of bag only with the giant hardware instead of the regular hardware that Pepper has, but it was all sold out here. My bf offered to get me either the Anthracite or Papyrus or Praline in Las Vegas, but the only colour that I really liked (Praline) was snatched up by someone else. Thankfully, he talked me out of getting a bag that expensive without seeing it in person and I’m glad he did because I believe that Pepper and I were meant to be, guys.

And the sunglasses are gold framed aviator-ish style. I usually use my wayfarers — they’re the best regardless of how much more expensive other brands are.

I love that you carry CHEESE in your purse! I want to leave a block of it at the office but so not a good idea. Can’t even leave yogurt there without someone thieving it immediately.
Liz, I am totally in love with cheese. Sometimes, I’ll grab a chunk of whatever cheese is available at home, nuke it in the microwave for a few seconds and eat it on its own.
My office has surveillance cameras around the fridge. I guess brown bag theft got so high at one point! lol
At my old job, I left a carton of chocolate milk (yes Im a child) and when I was gonna grab it for lunch, it was gone!! BOOOO LUNCH THIEVES!
That SUCKS!! I hate lunch thieves, too. Maybe leaving a note on your lunch saying “Don’t drink unless you wanna swap spit with me” or “I totally licked this sandwich” will deter any future lunch thievery?
I was so mad about the yogurt incident that I put one out in the sun to sour up and “donate” to the office fridge thief. But my mom and sister thought I was being monstrous and put it back in the fridge whenever I wasn’t looking. FOILED!
NOOOOOOOOO!!! How could they???!!! That thief’s way more monstrous for stealing someone else’s food. SERIOUSLY!
Speaking of bad yogurt, I had a couple of old yogurt in the car that I used to “decorate” some a**hole’s front windshield years ago. I was in the left turn lane onto St. Joseph St. from Bay St. and some south-bound idiot trying to do a u turn totally blocked me and expected me to get out of my lane. I was LIVID!! The idiot went as far as PARKING right in the left-turn lane and leaving his car to go pick up his stupid pizza at Pizza Nova. I totally snapped and grabbed the yogurt containers, took off the lid and went to town all over his windshield.
I’m sure the people watching me go ballistic thought I was crazy. Also pretty sure I sped away listening to loud music and cackling over my “victory.”

The contents in your purse would fit inside 1 of 3 compartments in my purse with room to spare LOL! I tried downsizing but of course the second I did, I needed something I took out so never again! …sigh oh well I consider it good exercise – its like lifting weights on the go.
Kim, I can’t say that I’m always this neat. I usually like to carry my ENTIRE life with me in my purse, but the one I’m currently using isn’t big enough to carry all the stuff I usually bring with me. I guess it’s a good thing? My back and shoulder problems don’t seem as bad as they once were.
And I used to think that carrying a 100 pound purse (okay, fine, I exaggerated a LITTLE) would be like unscheduled arm exercise until a trainer at a gym measured my biceps for their gym initiation and found that my right arm is WAY bigger than my left.
See that’s why you have to switch arms – then they are evenly pumped… er… toned. LOL!

Aww you are definitely a minimalist! Too cute. I carry way too much stuff as I’m one of those “What if I need this?” type of person. I’m inspired to do a “what’s in my purse” post..maybe one day.

LOL nooo Fieran, I am so not a minimalist. I used to carry a tetrapak of soup AND a small travel sized candle on top of my makeup bag and everything for goodness’ sakes. LOL. I think you should!!
Yes, I usually have some type of snack with me because I get hungry so often and Babybel is what I prefer to have. It’s filling, compact and non-messy to eat.

I think I should re-do this post because it’s totally not a reflection of reality. I actually carry way more junk than this, but the City forces me to pare down to the bare essentials. You know how it is!
