Another day! I don’t have school or work, so I feel relaxed. Finally, a day where the thought “same sh*t, different week” has not come up at all. Being bogged down with school, work, and other responsibilities can really take a toll on you. Sometimes you get so tired that you don’t even feel like doing anything, but you know that you must keep at it.

Anyway, the weather over the long weekend UH-Mazing! Sweater weather — warm enough that you’re not freezing, but cool enough that you’re not drenched in sweat after a 5 minute walk. It was so nice out that I just could not pass up going on a little adventure so I packed up my bag with some essentials and took Dashly, the cutest doggie, to High Park (Toronto’s version of Central Park, I guess).

Instead of driving there, we took the subway because, HELLO, what kind of adventure would it be if we didn’t take public transit — all that grime and funky odour. There was a mini zoo at the park where dogs were allowed so you bet we went in! The smell was STRONG, but seeing the cute animals was great. However, I don’t think they’d be so cute if I were stuck alone in the pen with them.

I’m glad that Dashly didn’t have some sort of a meltdown, all that smell can be quite overwhelming if you’ve got the nose of a dog. He actually looked like he was enjoying it. And, of course, I HAD to point out all the animals to him like I were talking to a kid. Can you imagine all the weird stares I got from actual parents?

Seriously, I’ve been talking to my dog long enough that it has come to feel like I’m actually talking to a person. Oftentimes I forget that I’m in public and I would say something like “Look, Washhwee, isn’t that cooOOl?” And, no, I don’t use my normal tone — I talk like to him like someone would a baby. Seriously, how uncool am I? LOL. Well, hope everyone enjoys the rest of the week!

Oh, and here’s a cute photo(bomb?) to make you smile:
