I’m always tempted to get Urban Decay’s Naked palette, but then I think, “Do I really need this?” given that I have like, 100 eyeshadows from MAC and that I would only be able to wear the UD palette on my days off… I’m always torn, ’cause I know the colours are so nice, but then I probably have colours that are almost exactly like it… But they’re not all together in a pretty package like UD’s… UGH. TORN.
I have the Naked palette and it’s kind of nice. The colours I use most are Smog, Creep, and Gunmetal. I really dislike Sidecar as it’s like the Queen of Fallout.
I swatched Half Baked and Sidecar.. They’re SO pretty!!
Same here! Sephora’s ALWAYS out of stock, but I did find a whole bunch at the Shoppers in Yorkdale. Hate that it’s $58. TEN dollars more expensive than the listed price on Ulta.com or Sephora.com!! I’m gonna wait until I go to Vegas in November. Let me know if you want one, too

I had the Naked Palette then SOLD IT. The wavering back and forth on it was ridiculous. The Shoppers at BCE Place near Union Station also usually keep a full stock of it, which is where I got it originally.

Just out of curiosity, what did you not like about it? I was super tempted to get one last week, but I’ll wait until Vegas… I don’t want it that much.
And the cardigan is from J. Crew. Haven’t seen it at their store in Yorkdale. Everything in that store is a LOT more expensive than in the US. Gross!
Everything in Canada is inflated to a ridiculous degree. And I haven’t been cross-border shopping in AGES!

But in short, I got sucked in by the hype when I didn’t need it. It’s a good palette but not as great a value in Cdn pricing + personally unnecessary. That’s all.
Man, you got that right! I think it’s mainly due to Canada’s high tariffs, but a part of me thinks that there is a little bit of greed in play here. The markup is just way too high!
And I don’t really shop for clothes here anymore. I usually save it for when I go to Buffalo or on long distance trips in the US.
I think the hype surrounding the Nake palette is getting to me! I never really paid much attention to it until I started reading more and more about it. Ugh. We’ll see, but I’m definitely not willing to pay $60+ for that palette.

gahh i dont know why whenever i see it i see a face staring back at me. it has two eyes, a mouth, with a drop of saliva hanging from it and two floppy ears. i know im going to be hated for saying this but i cant help seeing it! :S

Don’t even worry about it. I took 5 years to finish because I didn’t want to stress myself out too much. An extra course doesn’t seem like much, but it makes such a big difference!
