Hi, my name is Mary D. and I am a beauty junkie currently residing in Toronto, Canada. My obsession with makeup and skincare started at a very young age and was, for better or worse, nurtured by my like-minded aunts.
I’d have to say that of the two (makeup and skincare), skincare is my passion for I truly believe that good skin is the best canvas for makeup. I obsess day in and day out about sun exposure and sunblock/sunscreen much to the chagrin of my loving bf. And I know I’ll sound like a broken record, but it really is so important to take care of your skin. Prevention is a million times better than correction.
This blog allows me to write about my obsession as well as share tips and information with other beauty junkies out there. Also, it helps ease the my bf’s pain from having to hear me talk about it 24/7 haha.

Hahaha, I’m like you. I’m obsessed with skincare (as well as make up, hahaha).. and cannot live without my sunscreen. I agree, prevention is better. Alot of the reasons I worked as a skin care consultant.

A lot of people know that UVA and UVB rays cause a lot of damage to the skin, and yet they still neglect to apply sunscreen. And skincare is my life! Prevention is always a million times better than going under the knife later on in life.

Haha, we are so ALIKE! I’m currently in my last semester of Esthetics school and can’t even explain how obsessed I am with skincare. Can you believe that there are girls in my class (full of aspiring ESTHETICIANS) who are still smoking and using tanning beds?
My boyfriend got sick of the constant “Put on sunscreen!” lecture too.

My bf’s a lost cause. He really can’t stand the feel of sunscreen on his skin. I guess you either like it or you don’t.
THank you! I’m Filipino. And I use a Canon 60d for all of my photos. I do most of my post processing on Photoshop (adjust saturation, levels, ,etc.). makes big difference!
