A Few Favourites

Niagara Falls, New York
Love to go on mini road trips to Niagara Falls, NY. We usually go there to shop, but what I enjoy more is the long drive and seeing old fast food signs like this one for Arbys.

Early mornings at the park with my little boy.Bigabaldi’s Pizzeria.
They serve ridiculously good New York style pizza. My favourite is the “Baldi” — it’s got huge chunks of goat cheese, mozzarella, rapini, mild sausage, and melt-in-your-mouth roasted garlic. SO.GOOD. What’s also great about this place is that the owners are obviously passionate about what they do which is making great pizza. Okay, hungry now! Great.

God, I love New York-style pizza… I wanna go to John’s in NYC so bad. The best pizza I’ve ever had is from there. I’ve never had rapini on pizza before. It must be pretty awesome with the garlic and the sausage. OMG I AM SO HUNGRY THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT.

Also, I love Arby’s for their Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwiches… Ironically, I think they’re way better than the roast beef…

Is John’s in Greenwich Village? I think my mom and I went there once when we visited NY and the pizza was uh-may-zinnn! And I’ve never had rapini on pizza before, either.. But it works. The roasted garlic is seriously heaven!! Now, I’m hungry again :-(

Haha I always get the roast beef sandwich at Arby’s. I like it plain without the cheese which is so weird.

Yep, there’s a John’s on Bleecker Street in the Village, and there’s also one in the Theatre District. I ordered a white pizza with Italian sausage and HOLY TASTEBUD ORGASM.

I actually ate at Arby’s sometime last week, and I’ve realized curly fries are so much better than regular fries… And strangely enough, their “Horsey Sauce” is kind of really addictive… Apparently, the only Arby’s in all of Toronto is in Yorkdale. (The next closest one — to me, anyway — is in Ajax!) I wonder why that is, ’cause they’re pretty damn delightful.

What’s in a white pizza??? Sounds cheesssseeeeyyy yummmmmm

And we’re TOTALLY on the same wavelength with curly fries — I also came to the same conclusion when I had some of my bf’s.. But I don’t like horsey sauce wommp wommp. I didn’t know Arby’s only has one location in Toronto.. Luckily I live just a few minutes away hehehe

A white pizza is a sauce-less pizza. It usually has pesto or garlic/olive oil in place of the tomato sauce. And it usually comes with more cheese. :) It’s frakkin’ good.

Haha, the horsey sauce is kinda gross… but I love horseradish. And mayo. And horsey sauce is horseradish mayo. So… you can draw your own conclusions… I actually live closer to the Ajax location… :(
