I can’t believe it’s Thursday already! Actually, I can’t believe it’s August already!!
Things to look forward to this month:
Just one: CNE which means paying the hefty entrance fee and parking just to end up in the food court for the entire time we’re there.
Anyway, I met up with Denise two weeks ago and we both ended up in Sephora (surprise, surprise!). She wanted to stock up on Fresh perfumes and, after smelling this baby, I could NOT just walk out without buying it. The scent is citrus-y, but with a bit of warmth to it. Perfect summer fragrance.
I can seriously eat sushi every single day. My all time favourite is the avocado and salmon maki with brown rice. MmmmmmmmmMMmm.
Does this need any explaining? My favourite all day, everyday.

Every time Im in town I have to smell Taj Sunset by Escada.. I LOVE THAT PERFUME!!
Unfortunately I dont want to buy it cause its SO DAMN EXPENSIVE!! Its sooo wonderful though

And the perfume bottle IS cute, but I love the scent inside it way more. IT’s seriously the softest, warm citrus scent that stays on you. And it didn’t give me any headaches (something I’m very prone to)!

Mm, I totally love that perfume, and the Sugar Lychee one… I’ve been interchanging them, but they’re fantastic for summer — the scent is sweet and citrusy but not overwhelming or cloying, and they last pretty long!

And THANKS for ‘forcing’ me to go into Sephora and ‘coercing’ me into buying this perfume because it’s quickly become my go-to fragrance everyday.

Haha, OMGGGGG, love CNE. Apparently, I can get a corporate discount through MAC… Mmmmm, corn dogs, funnel cakes, Tiny Tom donuts, deep-fried Mars Bars, ice cream waffles, ribs… I may even have to try the doughnut cheeseburger just because it sounds so gross.
I sense I will be going to the CNE more than once this month.

HOLY SHIRT, doughnut cheeseburger? My arteries clogged a tiny bit just reading cheeseburger and doughnut in one sentence. But, wait, per the article, they used LEAN beef patties so that’s, like, a little healthier than less-lean beef patties, right?

Brown rice sushi?!?! UGH! Singapore needs to get with the times, stat. Brown rice in sushi sounds SO good, not to mention it’s so much healthier. Another reason to visit Toronto… hmm!
YES!!!! You can opt for brown rice at some sushi places like the one I frequent for lunch during work. There is like almost NO taste difference between brown rice sushi and regular rice sushi.

I loved visiting the fresh boutique in NYC…I couldn’t decide what to get so I didn’t get any…but next time I will! I love that pic with the golden retriever….love dogs…
They have their own boutique in NYC??? I didn’t know that! Anyway, I really like a lot of Fresh’ products (esp. their fragrances), but they’re SUPER expensiv-o!

Funny, I have yet to try tuna with avocado. I love salmon so much in my maki that I usually stick to to that when I order. Will try tuna, though
I have Fresh Sugar Lychee in the rollpen form (the bottle is just way too expensive) and I like it! It’s a little bit too sweet on most days so I only like to dab a little bit on behind my ears. I love their packaging though.
