Greek SaladI’ve been on a Greek Salad bender for the past month now. It’s all I ever think about when lunchtime rolls around. No, it’s not because of some diet (I don’t think I could ever commit to that). I just love vegetables and salads that much.
Another Greek Salad
Yeah, I think I’m obsessed with Greek Salad. I took my brother to Sophia Restaurant across the border for his birthday a week ago and got this (he ordered the monstrous chocolate chip pancakes).

Waffle with double scoops of Nutello (tastes similar to Nutella and contains chunks of chocolate chips) ice cream, banana slices, dollops of whipped cream, shaved almonds, and hot chocolate fudge.

Mac Studio tint – okay then I get to the second pic and I don’t know why but I chuckled at the bracelet and ESPECIALLY the quote. It was so delightfully out of place it was perfect! (Does that make sense?)
Anyhoo moving on.. bumble bee surf spray – sometimes I really wonder how people come up with these names… 2 greek salads – you really like making me hungry don’t you? But hey, there are worse things you could be craving – french fries covered in grease for example and then, then…
…the ice cream….

There’s never really been a common link between my ‘faves’ in each A Few Favourites post. They’re just all random things I happen to like. And that makes perfect sense to me!
And the brand name Bumble and Bumble has always intrigued me as well. It just sounds way cute. The Surf Spray is a thing of wonder, though. Seriously. It adds so much texture to your hair! Ahhhlahhhvvittt!
Also, I LOVE salads. Like, I seriously LOVEEEEEEEE salads. They’re my, ermm, bread and butter? LOL. And the waffle’s there to add some “balance” to the healthy stuff I’d been eating hahahaha. Honestly, I would have licked the plate if I wasn’t already on the verge of barfing. Major sugar rush!

If you get sick of that bracelet, you can find youtube tutorials on how to make those “friendship” inspired bracelets to add a pop of color!
The salads look SO good and pretty healthy! No dressing? Or is that Greek salad characteristic? The waffles look soooo good too! That’s probably 1000 calories right there! hahaha!

And I always ask for the dressing on the side. Dressing laden salads aren’t my cup of tea. I usually like white vinegar/balsamic vinegar based dressings. This it the North American variant of the traditional Greek Salad. I think the original kind has chunks of Feta cheese and cucumbers and tomatoes tossed in a light vinaigrette dressing.
Oh man, that was EASILY 100 grams of fat! My bf asked for an extra scoop and we might as well have said “just throw in another tub of ice cream in there” because that’s what it looked like!

OH GOD, WE NEED TO GO TO DEMETRES. Okay, so here’s what we should do. We should go for dinner… but SOMEHOW not stuff ourselves into oblivion, so we can devour ice cream waffles… I reckon this is possible if we don’t do all-you-can-eat. (Like, after Burger’s Priest.)
I think Greek salad might be my favourite salad, actually. Except I never leave it at just the salad when I get Greek food… There always has to be pork or chicken souvlaki, and rice, and potatoes… Mmmmmm…
I really should try my Surf Spray some time. I bought it a couple years ago and have never really experimented with it… I used to be obsessed with Bumble and Bumble (I think I bought like, 6 of their hairsprays, and three of their shampoos and conditioners…) but I sort of got over them when they came to Sephora… Go figure.

Yeah, I always get at least one skewer of chicken souvlaki with my salads. I’m not a huge fan of the potatoes, so I skip that and while I like the rice (smothered with their gravy) I always end up finishing the salad first so I’m too full to make a dent on it.
You should! Love all that it can do for my hair. And what can I say, the grass is ALWAYS greener on the other side.
