When the MAC Fairy comes to visit.
Thanks, MAC Fairy!!! Baked Tilapia and Fish and Chips from some restaurant in New Hampshire.
New nail polish is always nice, but sucky new nail polish is always sucky. I totally just talked like a 12 year old.Vietnamese fresh shrimp rolls.

I admit it: my hair is gross. It hasn’t been cut or trimmed for about a year now and I have split end after split end (I have seen ones that go all the way to the root of my hair strand. Gross!).

On a bad day, my hair feels dull and dry and just lifeless. On a good day, my hair is up in a ponytail/bun. I try to deep condition it a few times a month, but I find that even that’s not enough. So what’s a girl with hair problem to do?

Walk into the nearest Sephora and not into a salon to get that much needed trim is what! I initially wanted to get something from Bumble and Bumble, but they had a tester for Alterna’s Kendi Oil Dry Mist by the door. Fell in love with one spray. For serious.

It’s a dry oil spray that doesn’t feel oily at all. Love that it doesn’t weigh down my hair — it’s actually very lightweight! Kendi Oil Dry Oil Mist is meant to both eliminate stubborn hair frizz and protect hair strands from damage incurred from the use of heat styling tools. My hair still gets slightly frizzy, but is a far cry from how bad it usually gets ESPECIALLY during the hot humid days of summer. I love the smell it leaves on my hair and how shiny my hair looks after a few sprays. And my split ends? They’re still there. I should just give in and get a cut :-S.

All products in Alterna’s Bamboo line contain Eco-Certified Organic Bamboo and are free of parabens, gluten (you know, just in case someone who is gluten intolerant decides to drink the stuff), phthalates (what the heck is with the extra ‘H’??), synthetic colour, mineral oil, and petrolatum.

This 125ml spray bottle will set you back approx $25 CAD and should last you a couple of months if used daily. Would I buy again? Yes.

Ever heard of that Coconut song before? It’s by Harry Nilsson. If yes, then I feel for you. If not, don’t bother. It’s the most annoying song, EVER. Anyway, was in Aruba a couple of weeks ago and had a spectacular time. Have never been to a prettier beach. Wait, actually I think it’s on par with Nassau.

We stayed at Riu, an all inclusive hotel. You know that adage, “Your body is a temple?” Well, my body was a trash bin for an entire week. Let’s just say that I have no control when it comes to pizza and dessert at a buffet.
