I have never been into this “holiday” but I do wish everyone else celebrating it a great one!
February 2010
Nice, long, full lashes. I don’t have them, but I wish I did. My bf has them, but does he need them? NO!
His lashes will never need to be curled with eyelash curlers; never will they be coated in glorious mascara either. So, to point out the obvious, yes, I am jealous.

There are tons and tons of lash growth serums in the market nowadays. In fact, I’m testing one out from L’Oreal, but it will take a while before I can judge whether it’s worth it or not. But if you want to fake fuller lashes pronto, then you may want to try this technique out.
Tightlining is really just lining your eyes right at the roots of your eyelashes. Dark liner fills in any gaps, thus giving the illusion that you have thick eyelashes. Sounds wonderful, no?
This technique can be done with your regular eyeliner or with a gel based liner. If you are using a regular pencil liner, simply push your eyelid (as gently as possible) and line your eyes right at the base of your eyelashes. If you prefer to use a gel based liner, then the same rules apply: with your angled brush, start lining your eyes at the base of your eyelashes.
Trust me, this is a tried and true trick to fake a fuller set of lashes.
Ok, is that kitsch gold or what? I recently ran out of my Vaseline Cocoa Butter Lotion and bought Soap and Glory’s The Righteous Butter out of my love for their Clean on Me’s wonderful scent (yes, I do love it so).
What they say:
Butter yourself up: After showering or bathing, smooth a generous handful of Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter® onto damp skin and massage gently until it sinks in. Then relax and take in the wonderful aroma’s of leafy greens, bergamot and mandarin, with a floral and fruity middle note that makes your nose tingle a little, followed by soft, sexy, musk, oakmoss, amber and woody notes.
Ooh La la! I can’t rave enough about Soap and Glory’s signature scent. It’s not overpowering — it’s feminine and classy. What’s great is that the scent has lasting power; I use it in the morning and I can still smell it after work.
The body butter itself is not greasy at all unlike some other brands (ahem, Bath and Body Works, ahem), but still quite moisturizing. And, unlike the handful they advise you to apply, I only need a little bit of the product (roughly the size of a beer cap) to cover one leg. So, this magical tub will last you a while. LOVE it!
And now I shall watch the season premier of LOST online since I missed it the other night. Does anyone else like this show?! I love that they tie mythology, religion, and philosophy into the story arc. What I don’t love is that it drives me crazy when the show leaves me hanging with unanswered questions. Nevertheless, it’s T.V. gold and I suggest it to anyone who is not prone to fits of anger (yes, it can be a frustrating show to watch).
