Hey, Sugar Lips!

Girls, there’s another purpose for that sweet stuff in your cupboards. Oh, don’t you just love things that are multi-purpose? Whenever my lips get chappy (yuck!), I usually turn to this wonderful stuff to exfoliate my lips.

Tools

  • Vaseline
  • Granulated sugar
  • Lip Balm with SPF or Eye Cream

Directions:

Just dab a little bit of Vaseline on the lips then follow with some sugar. Next, with clean fingers, just rub the sugar all over your lips! Apply some lip balm with SPF or even eye cream (if this is done at night) to moisturize.

This method is great for prepping lips before lipstick. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is worse than lipstick on chapped lips. The lipstick just gets into each and every crevice and emphasizes rough lips.

Have a tip of your own?

My poor Wasshhhwee. Every summer he goes through this. He gets really itchy everywhere. So, to help with the itch, he has to take pills which make him really lethargic and thirsty.

Coming up, review on a couple of Aveda products I bought at their warehouse sale plus L’Oreal’s Extreme Volume Collagen mascara!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Another sale! Dear Lord in Heaven, help me. Fingers are itching. Sweat beads forming on my forehead. Short(er) attention span. I’m gonna break one of these days!

For those lucky enough to not be on any sort of budget, then you may just want to check out Hautelook.com’s Juice Beauty: The Organic Solution sale. All items are 40% and none are priced over $30. This is just another line of organic beauty products that I’ve been meaning to try for a while now.

What first caught my eye is their Green Apple facial peel. As some of you may already be aware of, alpha hydroxy acids are great for getting rid of the top layer of dead skin cells or the stratum corneum giving us that youthful, plumper skin. sigh

Check it out :D (Sale on until tomorrow, I believe.)
